Join us on Friday, January 31st for a Family Movie Night in the OHA Big Gym featuring Monsters University! Doors open at 5:45 pm. Movie starts at 6:05 pm. Popcorn from Woodbury 10 Theater will be provided. Bring a water bottle! The event is free, but we are accepting donations to help cover the cost of movie licensing. Bring blankets and pillows to sit on. Chairs are allowed in the back of the gym. All children with a parent/guardian are welcome. Learn more >>

We need your help!
MPTO is a 100% VOLUNTEER organization that depends on the involvement of K-5 families to provide valuable funding for our elementary schools. Many of our long-term volunteers will be “aging out” at the end of the 2024/25 school year. Please consider getting involved in one of the following positions:
Correspondence Secretary - Board-level position responsible for social media, newsletters, and submissions for the WW and OHA eNews. Elections for Correspondence Secretary, Recording Secretary, and President-Elect will be held in May.
Fun Run Fundraising Chair - The Fun Run is our biggest fundraising event of the year! Responsibilities include emailing and calling local businesses to solicit donations and build relationships.
OHA Book Fair Chair - The Scholastic Book Fair at OHA is held during Fall Conferences each year. We’re seeking a new chair to manage activities and coordinate with Scholastic and OHA for 2026.
WW Card Sharks Chair - Card Sharks is an enrichment club sponsored and led by MPTO parent volunteers. Sessions are held at Wildwood Elementary after school in fall and winter. Students of all math abilities get to play a variety of card, dice, movement, and board games to practice and develop skills. The Chair coordinates volunteers and activities.
Technology Chair - work from home position responsible for maintenance of website (Squarespace) and occasional creation of Canva graphics in coordination with the MPTO Board.

About MPTO
The Mahtomedi Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (MPTO) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, 100% volunteer organization working with Wildwood (WW) and O.H. Anderson (OHA) Elementary Schools.
All parents/guardians of students K-5 and staff at Wildwood or O.H. Anderson are voting members of the MPTO and encouraged to participate. Join us at a monthly meeting to meet fellow parents and school principals and add your voice to the conversation.

MPTO Mission
Promote a sense of community among family and staff of elementary students
Provide a forum to communicate district policies and decisions
Provide enrichment programs not otherwise available to students
Conduct fundraising events for specific operational and/or capital needs identified in partnership with school administrators
